One day my family and I were
driving in Brattleboro, Vt. looking for an apple orchard we
were told about. I wanted to buy several bushels of apples
for making applesauce. As we drove around looking for it we
had to stop for the cows to cross. That's where the idea for
this painting originated. We never did find that orchard,
but I ended up with a painting instead. The original size
is 20" x 24" and painted in acrylic on stretched
canvas.
"Cow Crossing" is a limited edition,
giclee print from an original acrylic painting by Pearlene
Gavlik. The edition is 3000 authorized and signed prints.
Release date was April 2003. This print is printed on acid
free, Epson enhanced matte paper, using archival ink. These
materials have a lightfast rating of over 100 years.
